These pictures were taken by Kirk Reisinger and Bruce Kossar on the Willow Grove, PA airbase during the rehearsal of the Willow Grove Air Show on September 7, 2001. The actual show took place on September 9, 2000. We met Sean Tucker, who was doing aerobatics in the Oracle-sponsored plane. During the rehearsal, we held aluminum poles 24 feet apart with a ribbon between them. Sean flew between the poles and cut the ribbon with the propeller. Considering the plane's wing span, the tips of it's wings were literally 6 feet away from each group of pole-holders. We also got official buttons of International Pole Holders Union.
Blue Angels were flying in a 5 plane formations 24 inches apart. The "Dangerous Trick" picture shows their maneuver when they fly into each other and at the last moment when collision seems unavoidable, turn on their sides.
